About the design

The Gazette, in detail

As an invitation, The Gazette holds the full set of details: your names, the ceremony date and time, the venue and a line about the reception. The suggested wording opens with “Breaking news” and closes with “Dinner and dancing to follow”. Each guest gets it as a text with their own link. Tapping it turns over an envelope addressed to them, lifts the wax seal and slides the card out, with an RSVP button underneath.

The Gazette sits in our editorial, playful and vintage collections and comes in 4 palettes, Newsprint, Salmon Pages, Blue Ink and Sepia, built around black, cream and pink. In the customizer you can switch palettes, rewrite every line and choose the envelope liner, wax seal and stamp before you make an account.

Nothing in the artwork ties it to a time of year, so it works as well for a June garden party as for a December evening reception. Invitations usually go out six to eight weeks before the wedding, or ten to twelve for a destination wedding, and replies land on your guest list as guests open their envelopes.

What your guests see

Opened, not just delivered

Every invitation reaches guests as a text, then opens like real mail.

A text with their name in it

Each guest gets an ordinary text and their own link. No app, no account, no email to dig out.

  2. 02

    An envelope addressed to them

It turns over, the wax seal lifts and the card slides out, addressed to the guest or their whole household.

  3. RSVP

    The card, then the RSVP

Guests read your invitation and reply in a tap. Their answer lands on your guest list.
