Bring your guest list from The Knot and text every household
Download your entire guest list from The Knot and upload the spreadsheet here. Each party becomes a household with its own RSVP link, so you can text your website, collect missing addresses, and track RSVPs without retyping a name.
This is a spreadsheet import, not a connected account. Nothing on your Knot website changes, and the two lists don't sync on their own.
How to move your guest list from The Knot
- Step 1
Download it from The Knot
On a computer, open The Knot's Guest List Manager, choose Download List, and download the entire guest list.

Upload the file
In Text My Wedding, upload the CSV or Excel file. If it has more than one worksheet, pick the one that lists your guests.

Check the matched columns
Confirm names, phone, email and address, and set The Knot's party column as Household so couples and families share one RSVP link.

Send your first text
Text your website link, an RSVP link for each household, or an address form to guests The Knot has no address for.

The Knot questions couples ask
How do I export my guest list from The Knot?
On a computer, open The Knot's Guest List Manager, choose Download List, and download the entire guest list. Then upload that file in Text My Wedding under Guests → Import from spreadsheet.
Is this an official The Knot integration?
No. Text My Wedding works with The Knot through the spreadsheet you download. Nothing connects to your Knot account, and nothing on your Knot website changes.
Will my parties carry over?
Yes, if you map The Knot's party column to Household. Everyone with the same value lands in one household with a shared RSVP link, and only one person per household needs a phone number.
What if my list is missing phone numbers?
A guest without a phone still imports when their row has a party value, so they count in their household's RSVP; they just won't get texts. To fill numbers in, turn on the phone field in your shareable address form and guests can add their own.
Can I import again after I add guests on The Knot?
Yes. A row whose phone number already belongs to a guest isn't duplicated, and guests without phones are matched by name within their household. Re-importing adds new guests but doesn't overwrite names or addresses you've already edited.
Do my RSVPs from The Knot come across?
No. Text My Wedding keeps its own RSVP forms, one link per household. Guests who already answered on The Knot can be marked by hand, or you can send RSVP links only to the guests you're still waiting on.
Can I text my Knot wedding website to guests?
Yes. Paste your website address into a message and send it to everyone, or to one group such as out-of-town guests.
