Export from The Knot
On a desktop computer, open The Knot Guest List Manager, choose Download List, and download the entire guest list as a table. The Knot’s current guide is How to export a guest list.
Import into Text My Wedding
- Open Guests → Import CSV.
- Upload The Knot CSV or Excel file.
- Choose the worksheet containing the people, if prompted.
- Map names, phone, email, address fields, and The Knot’s party or household value.
- Map any useful event or relationship column to Groups only when it represents a texting audience you want to keep.
- Review the preview and complete the import.
Keep one person per row. If The Knot exports a party name, use it as the household field so couples, children, and plus-ones share one Text My Wedding RSVP link. Guests without phones can remain in the household but will not receive texts.
