Follow this checklist before sending to the full guest list.
1. Confirm the event details
Open Settings → Event Details and verify the event name, date, and timezone. Scheduled messages use this timezone. If you change it later, messages already scheduled keep their original send moment.
2. Add yourself as a test guest
Open the dashboard, choose Guests, and add yourself with your US or Canadian mobile number. Send yourself every important message before sending it to a large group.
3. Add or import guests
- Import a CSV or Excel file
- Add one guest manually
- Set up couples, families, and plus-ones as households
- Collect contact information or addresses
A guest can exist without a phone number, but only guests with a valid phone receive texts.
4. Create useful groups
Use groups for the audiences you will actually message, such as Wedding party, Rehearsal dinner, Shuttle riders, or Out-of-town guests. A guest can be in several groups without receiving duplicate copies of one send.
5. Send a test
In Messages, write the text, insert a guest-name token if needed, choose a test-only group, and select Send now. Check the text, links, media, sender number, and opt-out footer on your phone.
6. Prepare the wedding workflow
- Send or schedule group messages
- Create and manage RSVPs
- Find replies and check delivery
- Send and collect photos or videos
Under Settings → Notifications, turn on reply emails. If you install the website on your phone’s Home Screen, you can also enable push notifications on that device.
