Send a photo or video
In the message composer, choose Photo or video. Upload from the device or reuse media already used for the event.
- Photos: JPG, PNG, or GIF. WebP is not supported by MMS.
- Videos: MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI, MPEG, M4V, or 3GP, up to 200 MB and 10 minutes.
- One message can contain one photo or one video.
Photos send in the message. A video is delivered as native media when the guest’s phone supports it; otherwise the guest receives a secure watch link.
Use an Attachment Page for documents and details
Open More message tools → Attachment Pages for:
- PDFs, menus, or schedules
- A wedding website or registry
- Several links that belong together
- Longer instructions or FAQs
Create or select the page and insert its link into the message. The page is mobile-friendly and can be reused in later sends.
Link shortening and tracking
Text My Wedding shortens supported URLs to tmwed.us and records confirmed opens per recipient. Avoid third-party shorteners such as Bitly, which may be filtered by carriers and cannot provide Text My Wedding’s recipient-level activity.
